Capitec Pay Not Reflecting

Capitec Pay deposits are instant, so when one does not reflect it almost always points to the approval step or the cell number on your account rather than a slow bank transfer. Work through the checks below before trying again, and follow the last section if money has actually left your account but was not credited.

Approval and notification checks

The approval happens in the Capitec app, so most non-reflecting deposits come down to that request not being completed.

  • Confirm the Capitec app is installed, logged in and has notifications switched on.
  • Check the cell phone number on your betting account matches your Capitec-registered number. If they differ, the approval request may not reach you.
  • If the approval was slow or timed out, it will not go through. Cancel and start the deposit again.
  • On a poor connection, try the other option — if Capitec Pay failed, attempt Capitec Pay By Ozow, or the reverse.

Money left your account but was not credited

If the R1 fee plus your deposit left your Capitec account but the balance did not update, do not just retry, as you could pay twice. First give it a few minutes, since a settlement delay can occasionally happen. If it still has not appeared, contact support with the date, time, amount and your Capitec reference so the payment can be traced and matched to your account. As an alternative route in the meantime, Instant EFT and Ozow are available. For the steps to deposit cleanly next time, see how to deposit with Capitec Pay.

Frequently asked questions

I approved the payment but nothing reflected. What now?

Give it a few minutes first. If the amount left your Capitec account but your CasinOnline balance did not update, contact support with the date, time, amount and reference rather than retrying, so you do not pay twice.

No approval request reached my Capitec app. Why?

Usually the cell number on your betting account does not match your Capitec-registered number, or notifications are off. Fix both, then start the deposit again.
