Ozow
Ozow is the most common pay-by-bank gateway in South Africa, and it is free to you as a player — CasinOnline covers the gateway fee. You pick your bank, log in on Ozow's secure page and approve the transfer; the money moves straight from your bank account to your CasinOnline balance in real time. There is no card and no wallet to load. Ozow itself holds none of your money — it only triggers the bank-to-bank transfer. The guides below cover how to pay, which banks work, what to do when a deposit does not reflect, and how refunds are timed.

Making an Ozow deposit
The flow is short: choose Ozow in the cashier, get redirected to a secure Ozow page, pick your bank, then log in with your internet-banking details on Ozow's secured page and approve with your bank's own security step. CasinOnline never sees your banking login. Note that Ozow is credential-based, unlike Capitec Pay, which approves inside your banking app. See the full steps in how to deposit with Ozow.
When a deposit does not reflect
Because Ozow holds no funds, a dropped connection after your bank debits can leave the deposit unconfirmed — debited on your side, not yet credited on ours. Usually a quick cashier refresh lands it, and many banks auto-reverse a broken transaction. Do not re-deposit straight away, or you may pay twice. See the fix in Ozow deposit not reflecting.
Banks that work with Ozow
Ozow supports the major South African banks, including Capitec, FNB, Standard Bank, ABSA, Nedbank, TymeBank, Investec and African Bank, among others. The exact list can shift, so check the bank picker on the Ozow page. Your bank's own daily or per-transaction limit can cap a deposit — you can raise it in your banking app. See banks that work with Ozow.
Refunds and reversals
Ozow refunds go back to the bank account you paid from. They are processed in batches on weekdays only, at 09h00 and 12h00. A request before 12:00 reflects within 48 hours; after 12:00, within 72 hours. There is no weekend processing, so a Friday-afternoon refund waits for the next business day. See timelines in Ozow refunds and reversals.
Frequently asked questions
Does Ozow cost me anything?
No. Ozow is free to you as a player — CasinOnline pays the gateway fee. You only move the amount you choose to deposit.
Is it safe to enter my banking login on Ozow?
Yes. You enter your internet-banking details on Ozow's own secured, bank-grade page, not on CasinOnline. The betting site never sees your login, and you still confirm with your bank's own security step.
Does Ozow hold my money?
No. Ozow only triggers a bank-to-bank transfer. The money moves from your bank account to your CasinOnline balance; Ozow never holds it.
