Banks That Work with Ozow

Ozow works with the major South African banks, so most players can deposit straight from their own account. The exact list can shift over time, so the bank picker on the Ozow page is always the live source of truth. Here is the current coverage and the one thing that catches people out: your bank's own limits.

Which banks are covered

Ozow supports the major banks, including Capitec, FNB, Standard Bank, ABSA, Nedbank, TymeBank, Investec and African Bank, among others. Because the supported list can change, check the bank picker on the Ozow page to confirm yours is there before you start. If you bank with Capitec, you can also use Capitec Pay, which approves inside the banking app rather than asking for your login.

Watch your bank's limits

Even when your bank is supported, its own daily or per-transaction limit can cap how much you deposit in one go. If a deposit is declined or capped, raise the limit in your banking app and try again. For a traditional bank-transfer alternative, see Instant EFT.

Frequently asked questions

Is my bank supported by Ozow?

Probably, if it is a major South African bank — Capitec, FNB, Standard Bank, ABSA, Nedbank, TymeBank, Investec and African Bank are among those covered. The list can shift, so check the bank picker on the Ozow page to confirm.

Why is my deposit capped lower than I wanted?

Your bank's own daily or per-transaction limit can cap an Ozow deposit. Raise the limit in your banking app, then try the deposit again.
