Ozow Refunds & Reversals
An Ozow refund goes back to the same bank account you paid from. Ozow processes refunds in set batches on weekdays, so the timing is predictable — but a refund requested late in the day, or over a weekend, has to wait for the next batch. The wait is normal, not lost money. Here is exactly how the timing works.
When refunds are processed
Ozow processes refunds in batches on weekdays only, at 09h00 and 12h00, back to the account you paid from. If your refund is requested before 12:00, it reflects within 48 hours. If it is requested after 12:00, it reflects within 72 hours. There is no weekend processing.
Friday and weekend refunds
Because there is no weekend processing, a refund requested on a Friday afternoon waits for the next business day's batch before it starts moving.
