How to Deposit with Instant EFT

Instant EFT is a real-time transfer straight from your South African bank account — no card, and it is free to you. The whole flow runs through your bank's own secure page, so your login and card details never reach the casino. Here are the steps from cashier to reflected balance.

The step-by-step flow

Five steps, usually under a minute:

  1. In the cashier, choose Instant EFT and enter the amount in rand.
  2. Pick your bank from the list.
  3. Log in on the secure gateway page — this is the bank's page (Walletdoc, Ozow, SiD, Peach EFT, PayGate or Capitec Pay), not the casino.
  4. Approve the transfer with your bank's own security step: an OTP or an in-app push notification.
  5. You are returned to the site and the funds reflect almost immediately.

The gateway screen you land on can differ from one deposit to the next, but the method is the same real-time bank transfer underneath.

If something goes wrong

If your bank debits the money but the balance does not move, do not re-deposit — see Instant EFT not reflecting. If the deposit is refused outright, why an Instant EFT deposit is declined covers the usual causes, most often the daily EFT limit. Not sure your bank is on the list? Check banks that support Instant EFT. Capitec customers can also use Capitec Pay, which approves in-app by cell number.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need my card for Instant EFT?

No. Instant EFT pays directly from your bank account in real time. There is no card number to enter — you authorise the payment by logging in and approving on your bank's secure page.

How long does the deposit take to reflect?

Almost immediately once you approve the transfer. A dropped connection at the bank's end can delay confirmation; if that happens, follow the not-reflecting guide rather than paying again.
