Casino Hold'em

Casino Hold'em is a poker table game played against the dealer rather than other players. You are dealt two hole cards and share five community cards, and your job is to build the best five-card hand from them. Because you face the house and not a roomful of opponents, there is no bluffing and no reading rivals. You place an ante, see the first part of the board, then make a single decision: fold or call. Strong hands earn a bonus on top of your ante.

How a round works

You start by placing an ante. You and the dealer each receive two hole cards, then three community cards, the flop, are dealt face up and shared. With your two cards and those three on the table, you decide whether to fold and forfeit the ante, or call by adding a further bet. If you call, the last two community cards are dealt and both hands are completed using the best five cards available. The stronger five-card poker hand wins the round.

The dealer qualifying rule

The dealer must hold at least a pair of fours to qualify. If the dealer does not qualify, the play part of your bet is returned and the ante is paid out, regardless of whether you would have won the hand outright. If the dealer does qualify, the two hands are simply compared and the stronger one wins. This qualifying rule shapes the value of calling, and strong hands such as a straight or better pay an additional bonus on the ante.

Playing the house, not the table

Because Casino Hold'em pits you against the dealer alone, the skill is in folding weak holdings and calling strong ones, not in deceiving opponents. There is no bluffing because the house never folds. That makes it a cleaner, more decision-driven game than player-versus-player poker. Because it is a software table, you can practise free in demo to get your fold-or-call decisions right before staking real rand. If you want to compare it with the other software tables, you can browse the full Table Games set and choose what suits your style on any given session.

Frequently asked questions

Am I playing against other people?

No. Casino Hold'em is played against the dealer alone. You are facing the house, not a table of opponents, which means there is no bluffing and no reading of other players involved.

What does the dealer need to qualify?

The dealer must hold a pair of fours or better to qualify. If the dealer does not qualify, the play part of your bet is returned and the ante is paid out for that round.

When do I get a bonus payout?

Strong hands pay an additional bonus on top of your ante. The stronger the five-card hand, the larger the ante bonus, with hands such as a straight or better rewarded beyond a normal win.

Should I fold or call?

You call with strong holdings and fold weak ones. Folding forfeits the ante, while calling adds a further bet to see the hand through. Sound decisions reduce the edge but do not beat the game.
