Free and Real-Money Blackjack

The software blackjack table is the place to practise: deal hand after hand in free demo to drill your strategy, then switch to real money in rand whenever you are ready, all at your own pace. A random number generator deals instantly, so there is no host and no waiting — just you against a dealer who follows fixed rules, building a hand closer to 21 than theirs without going over. Played with sound basic strategy, blackjack carries one of the lowest house edges in the casino.

How a hand plays out

You are dealt two cards and the dealer shows one face up. Number cards count at face value, picture cards count as ten, and an ace counts as one or eleven, whichever helps your hand. You then choose to hit for another card, stand on what you have, double down for one final card at twice the stake, or split a pair into two separate hands. Once you stand, the dealer reveals their hand and draws until they reach at least 17, then the hands are compared.

Why basic strategy matters

Every blackjack hand has a mathematically correct move based on your cards and the dealer's up card. That set of correct decisions is called basic strategy, and following it consistently is what keeps the house edge low. Strategy does not let you beat the game over the long run, but it does reduce the edge against you to about as small as casino games get. Many players keep a strategy chart open while they learn, since the RNG format gives you all the time you need to decide.

Practise free or play a live dealer

The software table is instant and solo, so you set the rhythm with no waiting and no other players — ideal for free practice while you get the decisions down. When you want a streamed human dealer, real cards and a shared table, that experience lives in the live blackjack room. The rules and the 3 to 2 payout are identical, so the free table is the natural place to learn before you sit down live.

Frequently asked questions

What does blackjack pay?

A blackjack, meaning an ace plus a ten-value card on your first two cards, pays 3 to 2. A normal winning hand pays even money, and a push, where you tie the dealer, returns your stake.

Does basic strategy guarantee I win?

No. Basic strategy reduces the house edge to one of the lowest in the casino, but the game still favours the house over time. It improves your decisions, it does not turn blackjack into a guaranteed win.

When should I double down or split?

Doubling and splitting are situational and depend on your two cards and the dealer's up card. A basic strategy chart tells you the correct move for each combination, which is the simplest way to play them well.

How is RNG blackjack different from the live version?

RNG blackjack is software-dealt, solo and instant, so you play at your own pace. The live version is streamed with a human dealer and real cards at a shared table. The rules and payouts are the same.
