OTT Voucher Change & the OTT Wallet
You do not have to load an OTT Voucher's full value in one go. OTT supports partial redemption, so you can deposit part of it and keep the rest. That leftover does not vanish — it goes into an OTT Wallet. Here is how that works and how to get to your change.
Where your change goes
When you deposit less than the voucher's face value, the difference is held in an OTT Wallet. To access it, register on the OTT4Me app or website, where you can check the balance and use it later — for another deposit or for anything else OTT supports. The original 12-digit PIN stays single-use; the wallet is simply where the unspent rand lives.
How this differs from 1Voucher
This is where OTT and 1Voucher part ways. 1Voucher reissues your change as a brand-new voucher PIN, which you redeem like any other voucher. OTT instead keeps the change in your OTT Wallet. Neither is better — just know which you are holding so you do not lose track of the leftover. To load the next deposit, follow the deposit guide, or compare the full range of deposit methods.
Frequently asked questions
Can I deposit less than my OTT Voucher is worth?
Yes. OTT Vouchers support partial redemption, so you can load part of the value and keep the rest. The change is held in an OTT Wallet for you to use later.
How do I access my OTT Wallet change?
Register on the OTT4Me app or website. There you can check your OTT Wallet balance and spend the leftover later. Note 1Voucher works differently — it reissues change as a new PIN.
