Card Deposit Fees & Limits
Card deposits are quick and reflect instantly, but the way money comes back out is different. This guide covers the deposit side and, just as important, the withdrawal caveats South African players should know before choosing a card.
Instant deposits and limits
Card deposits reflect instantly once the 3D Secure check clears, so your funds are ready to use straight away. Deposit limits apply per transaction and vary, so check the amounts shown in the cashier when you deposit. Always confirm which cards are live in the cashier, as the available options can change.
Withdrawals are not symmetrical
This is the part players miss: depositing by card does not mean you can withdraw to that card. Many South African sites do not pay out to card at all, and where card withdrawals are supported, they carry limits and longer processing times than deposits.
In practice, withdrawals are typically paid out by bank EFT, so make sure the bank account on your profile is correct and verified. Do not count on cashing out back to your card. If a fast method on your bank account matters to you, instant EFT keeps everything on your bank.
Frequently asked questions
Can I withdraw back to the card I deposited with?
Often not. Many South African sites do not pay out to card and route withdrawals to bank EFT instead. Where card withdrawals exist, they have limits and take longer than deposits.
Are there fees on a card deposit?
Check the amounts shown in the cashier at the time you deposit, as deposit limits and any charges are displayed there and can change.
