Welcome Bonus Wagering Explained

Wagering is the rule that decides when bonus funds become real, withdrawable cash. CasinOnline applies 30x turnover, and how quickly you reach it depends on which games you play. This guide explains the maths, game weighting, the cap on what you can withdraw and the time limit. For the wider picture, see our wagering requirements guide. Check the current terms on the promotions page.

What 30x turnover means

At 30x, a R1,000 bonus needs R30,000 in bets placed before it converts to withdrawable cash. That is turnover, not money you must lose: each bet counts toward the total whether it wins or loses. The figure climbs fast, which is why the type of game you play matters as much as the amount you stake.

Game weighting, the cap and time limit

Not all games count equally. Slots typically contribute around 100% of each bet toward wagering, while table and live-dealer games count far less or nothing at all, so clearing on roulette can be slow or impossible. Two further limits apply: the most you can withdraw from the bonus is 5x its value, capped at R50,000, and there is a time limit to finish wagering before the bonus and its winnings are forfeited.

Frequently asked questions

Does playing table games clear the welcome bonus?

Usually not efficiently. Table and live games are often weighted at a low percentage or zero, so they contribute little or nothing toward wagering. Slots, weighted around 100%, clear it far faster. Check the weighting list in the current terms.

Can I withdraw straight after finishing wagering?

Once wagering is met and no active bonus remains in your bonus wallet, the funds become withdrawable, subject to the 5x and R50,000 cap. FICA verification is required before your first withdrawal.
