Apple Pay

Apple Pay lets you fund your CasinOnline account from your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch or Safari on a Mac without typing a card number. In the cashier it runs on the Stitch card rail, listed as "Stitch Card & Apple Pay". You confirm the rand amount with Face ID, Touch ID or your device passcode and the deposit clears in seconds. The three guides below cover the step-by-step flow, which devices and South African bank cards work, and how the security holds up.

Apple Pay guides

Depositing step by step

The flow is short: choose Apple Pay in the cashier, confirm the card already sitting in your Apple Wallet, and authorise with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode. No card numbers are typed and the deposit lands in about a second. You do need a card added to Wallet first. See how to deposit with Apple Pay.

Devices and South African banks

Apple Pay is Apple-only — iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch or Safari on a Mac. It will not show up on an Android phone or a Windows PC. Most major SA issuers are supported, including ABSA, FNB, Standard Bank, Nedbank, Discovery and Investec, with Capitec added more recently. See supported devices and bank cards.

How safe it is

Your real card number is tokenised by Apple, so CasinOnline never sees it, and every payment needs biometric or passcode approval. Nothing card-related is stored at the casino. Note that Apple Pay is for deposits only — withdrawals are paid out by bank EFT. See is Apple Pay safe for deposits.

Frequently asked questions

Is Apple Pay instant at CasinOnline?

Yes. Once you confirm with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode the deposit clears in seconds — Apple advertises about one second — and the balance shows in rand straight away.

Can I withdraw to Apple Pay?

No. Apple Pay handles deposits only. Withdrawals are paid out by bank EFT, which is standard across South African betting sites.

Do I need to type my card number?

No. The card lives in your Apple Wallet, so you tap to pay and authorise with biometrics. Your real card number is never typed or shared with CasinOnline.

Why is there no Apple Pay option on my device?

Apple Pay only appears on Apple devices — iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch or Safari on a Mac — with a card added to Wallet. It will not show on Android or Windows.
